Very , very LIGHT WEIGHT, which us older gals appreciate. The toe area is very rounded and comfortable. No pressure felt on my toes. I wish the heel came up a tiny bit higher in the back, but it's not a deal breaker. The inside insert is removable and may make my foot go down a little deeper.I wear relatively THIN 100% cotton socks. I think they would be very tight if I used a HEAVIER ATHLETIC style cotton socks. They're leather and MAY be able to be stretch, but unless you're barefoot, wear a thin cotton or nylon stockings or use those no show cotton footsies it might be IFFY.If your feet swell, I'd get the next half size up. There's a little tag that says you can cut off the ends of the straps at the designated creased spots, if they are too long when fastened. That's a nice touch.Seems well made....they are leather and look like they'll last longer than I'll be around.....
