I've been trying to dress "girlier" lately, but I always struggle with feeling like I'm seconds away from flashing everyone while wearing skirts and dresses in public. Skorts are such a great compromise, and this style is my favorite so far! The material is stretchy and the legs have a rubbery band inside the bottom hem to keep them from sliding up as I move but don't dig into my legs at all. The skirt layer kind of skims over my hips and bottom in a flattering way but then flares out a bit, so I can easily walk, bend down, etc. I don't foresee needing to pull either part down a lot.I'm 5'4" and around 145 lbs and have wide-ish hips and a bit of a pooch, but I'm more top heavy than bottom heavy. The Medium actually fit me fine, but the waist was just a little tight when I bent down. I traded it in for a Large, and I like it better. It's a little looser feeling in the waist, which actually works because I may tuck my shirts into it, and the legs still fit really well. I like the length; it's around mid-thigh and doesn't feel too short for someone like me, who tends to dress a little modest. I have the plain black one and checkered black and white one currently and will likely order more soon.
