I love this model of Levi jeans. For reference I am 5’3 and 140lbs. I purchased the 29” in the 501s. I have tried on the 28” and they are a little snug and don’t really loosen up throughout the day. The 29” fit the best on me and are the most comfortable to wear all day. The length is also great and hit right at my ankles. The only negative I have is that there were a couple of loose threads/elastic that were poking through and annoyed me so I pulled them out without damaging the jeans.All in all, it looks great and doesn’t make me look frumpy.
